Miles Foy

SAMPLES: Spotify

Miles likes making records and friends. Going on 10 years of recording and producing experience, Miles has realized that the best takes come when everybody in a studio feels comfortable, happy, and seen. There are no bad ideas in a recording environment :) Leveraging his proficiency in Ableton Live and excitement for live sound reinforcement, Miles can accommodate everything from fully analog signal chains to highly edited digital projects in the studio. Miles maintains a love for home and DIY recording, and often invites artists into his home studio during the production & mixing phases of a project to work collaboratively. This reinforces Miles’ beliefs about the importance of comfort and familiarity in music production, also helping to keep the production process affordable for those working on a budget!

Colby Koelsch

SAMPLES: 1, 2, 3, 4

My name is Colby Koelsch and I am an engineer, producer, mixer, and musician based in Portland, Maine. You might know me as the drummer in otis and Sullen Eyes.

Capturing the sound of a room brings me great joy. When running a session, I welcome the challenge of achieving great takes and buttery tones without sacrificing the joy of recording. Most sessions are run in a flexible analog / digital environment where experimentation is encouraged and overdubbing is easy.

My workflow is centered around the artist— turning ideas into albums. As a musician, I know what it’s like to not be stoked on a take. With an excellent selection of gear and immaculate vibes, Prism Analog offers an environment where you can feel confident in your work.

Living is expensive and not everyone has fat stacks to spend on precious studio time. I get that. My rates are more affordable than most without sacrificing quality and the sanctity of the process.

Book with me if you like: shoegaze, twee, post-hardcore, hyper-pop, bebop, gospel, harsh noise, bluegrass and anywhere in between.
